Meets List

 

Our meets year runs from September to June.  From October to March we generally book hostels and huts, whilst the rest of the year we use campsites.

The club operates a WhatsApp group which is updated regularly with information on meets and other club information.  People wishing to go on meets add their names to a list in a spreadsheet which can be accessed from the club WhatsApp group chat.  We don’t offer any group transport to any of the meets.  Instead, everyone indicates on the meets list whether or not they have space to give someone a lift or if they need a lift.  Then we use this list to coordinate lifts for whoever needs one.

Occasionally, there may be more names on the list than there are beds in a hostel or hut, in which case we use a combination of a waiting list and a first-come-first-served basis.  In this case, if and when someone pulls out, the next person in line on the waiting list can take their place.
