We had a good weekend in this warm and comfortable bunkhouse, a real train enthusiast’s paradise and a big hit with Andy. Twenty people attended this club meet including our new member Paul.


Despite the awful weather (rain turning to snow at 1,000ft ) everyone ventured out on the Saturday.

  • Willie led a large group up the north face of Stob a’ Choire Mheadhoin with a few folk abandoning this direct route due to lack of crampons and the lure of the rugby match  showing in the  pub.

  • Donald ticked off Meall Laidh Mor in his attempt to complete the Marilyns.

  • Allasdair and Jim interrupted their ‘gourmet eating weekend’ to climb Craig Pitridh but only made it to the caves for a spot of lunch (smoked salmon, grapes, and dark choco...
